Battlefield Mutations

The full mutation table: what stacks dangerously and what always pays.

The high-risk/high-reward layer. Mutation values from Sept 2 runs; the reward multipliers are community-aggregated. "Stack" notes which mutations combine dangerously.

Blood Moon Rising

Enemy attack +30% · loot +50%

The common positive wager. Consecrated Ward offsets the attack bonus — net +50% loot for free.

Found: The moon icon on the quest card. Community rule: always take a blood moon.

Gildennark Fog

Vision radius -60% · stealth +1 tier

The scouting mutation. Demons don't aggro in fog — the speedrun shortcut engine.

Found: STACK: fog + blood moon means fogged enemies hit harder too; invisible buffed mobs were day one's top killer.

Eternal Choir

Undead revive after 8s · quest XP x2

The XP wager. The grind build's relic: take graveyard quests and farm the respawn.

Found: Revived undead don't re-drop loot — don't get ideas.

The Hunger

Life regen -80% · executions heal

The chainblade mutation: execution healing triples, gallows becomes a potion. Other weapons, beware.

Found: STACK: hunger + blood-pool boss = suicide; the community has erected a tombstone.

Partial Eclipse

Power cooldown -40% · overload damage +100%

The power-build engine. Point-blank overloaded tier-three smite is the opening game's biggest single number.

Found: [RECON] Overload self-harm ignores ward mitigation — don't stack.

Moonless Night

Full dark · enemy aggro +1 tier · loot +100%

The highest-stakes mutation, and the quest type that triggers the hidden Vigil's First Knight.

Found: STACK: moonless + fog = pitch black with short vision; the speedrun board's suicide special.
